Call for abstracts: 1st DESIS User Workshop, 29 September – 1 October 2021

Our colleagues at the German Space Agency (DLR) are hosting the first DESIS User Workshop to “to provide a platform for discussion and knowledge exchange related to spaceborne imaging spectroscopy with a focus on DESIS mounted on MUSES/ISS. [They] would like to get a feedback on your first experiences working with DESIS data.”

Our colleagues at the German Space Agency (DLR) are hosting the first DESIS User Workshop to “to provide a platform for discussion and knowledge exchange related to spaceborne imaging spectroscopy with a focus on DESIS mounted on MUSES/ISS. We would like to get a feedback on your first experiences working with DESIS data.”

“The workshop topics comprise mission-specific aspects, calibration and validation issues, data transformation, physical-based and learning methods, applications and service development. In July, the organizers kindly ask you to submit a short abstract (max. 2 pages) summarizing your DESIS study on simulated or real spaceborne imaging spectroscopy or related topics.”

Important dates for the 1st DESIS User Workshop:

Webpage open: (approximately) April 1st, 2021

Abstract Submission: July 1st – July 23rd, 2021

Conference:  September 29th – October 1st, 2021
